Tara Bradshaw City Planner

Tara Bradshaw is the first-ever City Planner for the City of Dublin. She brings with her fifteen years of community planning and economic development experience and a strong passion for making Georgia’s cities a premier destination for business and culture, with a focus on public-private project development, public policy, financial incentives, placemaking, and partner engagement. Prior to this appointment, her previous work experience includes serving as the Economic Development Specialist for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and the Executive Director and Main Street Director of the Dublin Downtown Development Authority. Her work with the Dublin DDA helped garner over $50 million in public and private investment in the downtown district.

Tara is a Cordele, Georgia native, a graduate of Valdosta State University with BBAs in Management and Marketing, and a certified Economic Development Finance Professional by the National Development Council. She is a seasoned public speaker, trainer, and subject matter expert in various areas, including economic development, preservation, and project funding and management. Tara lives in Dublin with her husband Matthew and her two children, Maggie Claire and Lane.
