Mobilize Main Street is an immersive professional development training offered by DCA's Office of Downtown Development for downtown-focused economic developers. Grounded in the principle of peer-to-peer learning, Mobilize Main Street provides participants an opportunity to gain on-the-ground learning about project structure, public and private investment, best practices, funding and incentive mechanisms, and partner opportunities. The educational components of the training are curated through a combination of presentation and mobile tours, in which developers, business owners, city leadership, and Main Street staff walk participants through the building blocks of each project.

The 2024 Mobilize Main Street training will feature the downtowns of Dahlonega, Gainesville, and Hartwell. Each of these communities bolsters a long-standing commitment to revitalizing their historic commercial district.

Cancellations and Accommodations

Cancellations for this event must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected] by close of business on September 17, 2024, to be eligible for a refund. Requests received prior to the deadline will be refunded the amount charged during registration, minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made after the deadline will not be eligible for a refund, but substitutions for attendees will be permitted.
